Our Faith Statement

The Tri-unity

We believe in the One True, Eternal God - the Holy One of Israel - a triune God existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is one person of the Father, another of the Son and another of the Holy Spirit. We do not confound the person nor divide the essence. All three is one, glory equal and Majesty co-eternal. The Son is of the Father, not made, nor created; but begotten. The Holy Spirit is of the Father and the Son, not made, nor created, nor begotten but proceeding out from. All three are uncreated, pre-existent, co-equal and eternal. He is the only God, beside Him there is no other. He alone upholds, maintains, guides and propels the whole universe by His infinite wisdom and power.

The Person of Jesus Christ

We believe in the Lord Jesus the promised Messiah of Israel, begotten of the Father by the Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, being fully God and fully man. We believe in the pre-existence of Christ with the Father and that He was present from the beginning of creation. We believe that Christ made Himself known to His people in the Old Testament through the "Angel of the Lord" and the priest Melchesideck.

We believe that Jesus Christ the Messiah lived a perfect and sinless life and that He died for our sins on the cross, bearing the full judgment required by God's Holy justice against sin, thus making it possible for God to remain just and at the same time to justify all those who come to God through faith in His completed work.

We believe that Jesus Christ was confirmed as the only begotten of the heavenly Father by literally and physically being raised from the dead. We further believe that Christ revealed Himself in a glorified physical body to His disciples after His resurrection. This resurrection is the believer's assurance that all who die in Christ will also be resurrected unto eternal life and glorification.

We believe that Christ Jesus presently sits at the right hand of God where He intercedes as High Priest for all who come to the Father through Him and from where He will return at a time set by the Father to claim His bride, rule literally and physically from Jerusalem for a millennium and thereafter execute final judgment.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the presence of the Holy Spirit as promised by the Father, poured out on the born-again believer through the Son and manifested in the body through the fruits and the gifts given to testify of Christ and Glorify the Father.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is presently, personally involved in the lives of believers to glorify and form Christ in them and prepare them for life in the eternal Kingdom.

We believe that the Law of the Spirit enables man to fulfil the righteous requirements of the Law and that man, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, can now live free from the power of sin.

We believe that it is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that distinguish the believer from unbelievers and that this gift of the Spirit is the evidence of the believer's personal relationship with God.

We believe that every born-again believer must be sealed with the indwelling Holy Spirit as token and evidence that they belong to God and will inherit eternal life.

The state of man and salvation

We believe that all men are utterly morally corrupt due to the fall of Adam and consequently incapable of redeeming themselves from their sinful, fallen and condemned conditions by their own effort. Although man is morally corrupt he is still able to make choices for or against God by virtue of the divine given free will.

We believe that men, by their own free will through faith in the message of the Gospel and on no merit of their own, when drawn by the Father through the Spirit , can repent of their current sinful condition, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior and be born from above by the Holy Spirit to become children of God, partakers of the divine nature and heirs of eternal life.

We believe that it is the will of the Father that all men should come to the knowledge of the truth and that all men should come to salvation. The Father consequently draws all men unto Himself, but all do not respond in faith and surrender to God.

We believe that the born-again man is called to strive after a life of holiness and that each believer must be faithful to God until the end to receive the outcome of their faithfulness - eternal life in the heavenly kingdom.

We believe that it was appointed for all men once to die and thereafter judgment. There will be no second chance to repent and turn in faith to God after death. All those who do not repent in this present world will be condemned with the devils for their rebellion against God.

The Church

We believe that the church is the body and bride of Christ; that it is composed of both Jewish and gentile believers from Pentecost to the rapture; that entrance into this body is through being born again and filled with the Spirit.

We believe That the Holy Spirit alone adds men to the body of Christ.

The church is not a building or organization, but a living dynamic body composed of believers each functioning in their respective God given gifts with the single purpose of glorifying God.

Church and Israel

We believe that the church is distinct from Israel; that while sharing spiritual blessings with Israel of the Jewish covenants; the church does not replace Israel in the plan of God nor can it lay claim to specific promises made to Israel as a nation.

We believe that the relationship between Israel and the church is inseparable and that the state of the one reflects the state of the other.

We believe that an ordinance is a practice commanded by Christ, practiced in the Book of Acts and expounded in the epistles; that only two ordinances exist: baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper, both of which are limited to believers only.

We believe that the church is the witnessing body of Christ in the earth and that it is commissioned under the headship of Christ to live the Truth and preach the message of the Kingdom to all men and to disciple all those that believe. Christ Jesus not only instructed us to make disciples for His name's sake, but He also further made it clear that we should teach men to obey the commandments and teachings of the Scriptures. We believe that Evangelization without Discipleship is an un-Biblical principal. We further believe that all God's works are done within the context of His church and its various local expressions and that it is the only Biblical vehicle from which men can be Discipled.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the body through whom all the joints are nourished and linked together and that the body should be governed by the principles established by the first apostles under the stewardship of the elders.

We believe that there is a divine order found in the family and repeated in the local body of believers. God is the head of Christ, Christ is the head of man, and man is the head of his wife. The Lord called every man to be prophet, priest and king of his own home. This divine order of male headship is repeated in the local body for the guidance and protection of women.

We believe that the elders, equipped with gifts of the Spirit are called to serve and protect the body to assist in the perfection of the saints for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ that all may grow up to the full stature and knowledge of the Son of God.

The elders were given to the church to guard and keep the flock of God, not by manipulation or heavy shepherding but by loving examples, laying down their lives for the flock.

The elders were given to strengthen the weak, encourage the weary, teach the ignorant, correct the straying, discipline the erring and rebellious and do all of this with the love of God towards His own people.

Governance under mature, wise and Godly elders protect the flock from the many ravenous wolves that roam about to destroy the body of God wherever possible.

The Second Coming

We hold to a pre-millennial return of Christ as the Lion of Judah, at which time He will redeem His bride the church, both those who are asleep in Christ and those still alive, to be with Him eternally, lead some of Israel to salvation and restoration and execute judgment on all humanity after which He will reign from David's throne as King of Kings from Jerusalem for a thousand years.

We believe in the resurrection of all unbelievers after the millennial kingdom of Christ at which time they will all appear before the Great White Throne Judgment of Christ to be righteously judged and condemned.

Eternal life and Hell

We believe that hell is a real place that God prepared for the Devil and his angels to be tormented there for all eternity. Those rebellious humans who shunned the cross and the grace of God in this present world will unfortunately and tragically be cast into hell with the Devil and there will be incarcerated for ever.

We believe that the believers will receive life eternal and Glorified to be lived in the presence of God for eternity.

The Bible

We believe in the doctrinal infallibility of the whole of Scripture, both the Old and New Testament in the original manuscripts and that it is the Supreme authority in all matters of faith and life.

The Bible as infallible word of God is all sufficient for all the needs of man and therefore nothing can be added, and nothing can be taken away.

We therefore believe that the whole of Scripture is inspired by the Spirit of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness to thoroughly equip every believer. The whole of Scripture is interpreted, made plain and clear by the Holy Sprit to each individual believer.
